We couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce two exceptional professionals joining the Essential Radiology family as we continue to expand our services across the nation. Our esteemed East Coast Medical Director, Dr. Seth Crapp, and accomplished West Coast Medical Director, Dr. Jean-Paul (J.P.) Dym, are both superb additions to our leadership team. Their remarkable track records, innovative thinking, and commitment to patient care make them invaluable assets in driving our mission forward. Together, they embody our goal of creating a thriving ecosystem centered around transparent, seamless interactions. Let’s extend a warm welcome to Dr. Crapp and Dr. Dym as they join us on this exciting journey to transform the landscape of radiology!

Michael Rabern, our Co Founder and CEO reflects, “As we look towards the future, we are inspired by the unique capabilities and insights that Dr. Crapp and Dr. Dym bring to our Essential Radiology team. Dr. Crapp’s profound expertise in pediatric radiology, coupled with his commitment to community engagement, aligns seamlessly with our mission. Simultaneously, Dr. Dym’s exceptional track record in teleradiology and his passion for improving medical accuracy through technology will be invaluable in driving our commitment to quality care. We are privileged to have them on board, and I am personally excited to see the remarkable contributions they will make.”

Dr. Seth Crapp adds, “What drew me to Essential Radiology was the energy and drive behind the mission. I was inspired by the idea of working with a deeply experienced team that has a mission to push boundaries to provide a significantly improved version of teleradiology services compared to the status quo. The overarching goal is to provide better patient care. Additionally, the atmosphere of collaboration and creativity at Essential really resonated with me.  At Essential the value prospect lies in the individuals behind the company and our physicians who are squarely focused on the mission of providing a much different teleradiology experience to those we partner with to provide services. ”

“Our approach is all about pushing limits and embracing collaboration and creativity. By challenging traditional norms and employing a culture of collaboration and innovation, we are set to redefine the delivery of teleradiology services. In other words, we’re not just participating in the field of radiology – we’re helping write its future.”

Dr. J.P. Dym explains, “Medicine, and radiology in particular, is a complex, constantly evolving field. I’m not sure if any medical specialty is evolving faster than radiology due to its dependence on technology and the incorporation of artificial intelligence. Managing a radiology practice, therefore, requires a certain level of experience and knowledge. What drew me to Essential initially was the level experience noted top down throughout the organization. These are leaders and managers that have been in the radiology space for a long time and have evolved along with a specialty. At the end of the day, you also just want to work with high quality people in a supportive environment, which Essential definitely has.

“There’s obviously a mismatch between radiology image volume and reading radiologists throughout the country. However, that doesn’t mean that answers don’t exist to help alleviate this problem. Essential Radiology is in a unique position, presenting an outside the box solution to this paradigm, which I think may swing the pendulum finally in the other direction.”
